Two new, superior models of Compuprint thermal printers

  • for volumelabel and barcode printing applications

Caluso, Italy – March 2005 - Compuprint has announced the release of two new models of the thermal product line: Compuprint 6314 and 6414.

Both models are durable and technologically advanced thermal printers with the design principles that have proven successful in other Compuprint thermal printer family. Two new models have been designed to address both the desktop and industrial marketplace with the performance and value required in these healthcare, light industrial, retail and shipping applications.

Compuprint 6314 and 6414 are feature-rich printers built with a full metal structure. They are ideally suited for goods in and material tracking applications, shipping and receiving labelling, UPC and EAN product marking, manufacturing component labelling, and ticketing applications.

Available with resolution of 203 and 300 dpi, these new Compuprint models offer batched and on-demand thermal printing solutions that meet the most demanding needs of busy manufacturing, warehouse and logistics operations.

While the design and construction of a thermal printer is key to its durability, the ability to interface the printer to an existing or new system is key to a seamless integration into any application.

Standard connectivity interfaces for the new models includes an RS-232 serial port, an IEEE 1284 compliant, bi-directional parallel port, and a USB port. The Ethernet option board provides a printer webpage that allows easy configuration through any web browser.
